LGSR.co.uk is a trading website of Southwark Heating. This notice explains how Southwark Heating (“we”) collects and uses your personal information when you use LGSR.co.uk or contact us. We are the data controller.

Who we are

What we collect

Bookings: your name, email, phone, the property address and postcode, property type, the service and price, preferred date and time, your boiler make, your current certificate expiry date, and your tenant’s name and phone number if you give them for access.

Contracts, reminders, agent accounts and contact forms: your name, contact details, postcode, property details and your message.

Landlord account: if you have an account on southwarkheating.com, your account details and the records of work we do for you.

Tenants: if a landlord or agent gives us your details, we use them only to arrange access for the gas safety check and to give you a copy of the record.

How we use it and our lawful basis

To arrange and carry out bookings, provide certificates and send reminders you ask for (contract, or steps before a contract). To keep gas safety records and meet legal obligations (legal obligation). To contact tenants for access on a landlord’s behalf, and to run and secure this website (legitimate interests). We do not sell your information and only send marketing if you agree.

Who we share it with

Stripe (payments), GitHub Pages (website hosting), Supabase (customer database, accounts, bookings and enquiries) and IONOS (email). We send certificates to the landlord, and to the agent where the agent booked. Some providers may process data outside the UK with appropriate safeguards.

Your device

The booking form saves what you type in your browser’s session storage so it is not lost on refresh. It is cleared when you close the tab or finish booking. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

Only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal and accounting requirements. Gas safety records are kept for at least the period the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to our use of it, or get a copy. Contact us using the details above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
